how far my parents would go for taiwan hokkien drams.

ok so everyone knows my dad is crazy about watching 爱, so is my mum. she hated that show initially because she thought that it was cheesy at first, but then she got addicted to it. then many many years ago, there was this hokkien drama called 霹雳火, the same cast as another taiwan drama 台湾龙卷风. check out the extent my parents would go to for the sake of watching taiwan dramas:

firstly, my mum bought this stupid portable tv, so that she can watch 霹雳火 it if she goes home late, or even if she goes to MALAYSIA. WOW!! super KUA ZHANG seriously.



then, my parents would buy 8days magazines so they can catch a preview of the following week's episodes of 爱.



then, my dad didn't cut my birthday cake with me last year, because he wanted to watch stupid 爱 :(

then, yesterday, my mum had to drive us to our grandma's home at night, so she decided to use her portable tv again so she won't miss a single episode of 爱. then my dad watched it while my mum drives and listen to the audio at the same time. OMG.

just when you thought that 台湾龙卷风 has finally ended last wed, channel u decides to come up with a new taiwan drama 金色摩天轮. WOW. i applaud channel u for their "wonderful idea". 台湾龙卷风 shows at 11 pm, so my mum stays up till 12 plus to watch 台湾龙卷风, and now, with 金色摩天轮's new airing, my mum can like just go to work with eyebags.
