Decided to post more about choir trip because I'm feeling kind of nostalgic and I'm envying Bern, Doreen and Wendy who just flew to Bangkok today :'(
DAY 3: STILL IN DRESDEN.
Excerpt on my day, written in my choir journal/reflections booklet: "I like the Bach museum & the christmas markets. It is a very enriching experience and the scenery was beautiful. The Christmas markets give a very festive feel. Well-preserved architecture from gothic periods to the Baroque periods." LOL. Standard answer for the teachers.
Woke up super early for PT in the hotel LOL. We were doing PT on the stairs and it was so stuffy. Had to quickly packed up to check out to go for our tour around Dresden then leave for PRAGUE WOOHOO.
We went to the Bach museum omg so exciting because when I was learning piano, my piano teacher used to tell me many stories of Bach and I was kind of excited to go there. We sort of went into his house but there wasn't much inside because all we did was climb up the stairs and back down again LOL. Didn't enter the rooms or anything. The museum was kind of interesting though!! There were preserved copies of Bach's hand-written manuscripts omg so exciting!! But we weren't allowed to take pics. Oops so I realised that I typed wrongly in part 2 that we went to Bach museum on day 2. We actually went there in Day 3 and we were in Leipzig actually, for day 2.
CHRISTMAS MARKET AT DRESDEN OMG CAN YOU FEEL THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT??!! I was in paradise.
CUTE.
Fabulous coated apples!!

Standing in the middle of christmas market with a super unappealing looking yellow plastic bag which belongs to Ekhwee HAHA. German auntie in green looked unimpressed. Perhaps she found the yellow plastic bag revolting.
Oh so we were allowed to roam about the market then head back to the restaurant ourselves. Then due to Ekhwee's injured leg and had to walk on snow with her crutches, we PLANNED to leave slightly earlier so we could reach back on time, but the juniors were so caught up in shopping that we were late in gathering, so my group was way behind time. I think we were like 30 minutes late OMG. The original journey of 10 mins became 30 mins for us. Mr George Lim was so nice to come out of the restaurant to find us. He even carried my shopping bag for me LOL AHHHH WHAT A GENTLEMAN HEHEHE. Then he helped us to cross the road somemore. Seriously!! He's not even our real teacher-in-charge since he handed over already. Yet, he offered to come to look for us. RESPECT.
Went on the bus and headed to Prague finally!! Had dinner and rehearsal and I guess rehearsal that night was good!! We were practising for our opening concert for the next day.
Oh and me and Ekhwee were so grateful because the teachers arranged our room to be right outside the lift so we it was more convenient for her to walk. It was so convenient for us seriously HAHA NEVER LATE and we wouldn't have to wait for the lift for too long, as compared to others who had to walk a long distance since it's directly outside our door. I spent the night boiling water for the juniors again HAHA.
Alright bye. Till the next post.
