Dad's donation.

Taking a short break (5-10 mins) from Malay Studies. Last paper tomorrow and I really can't wait for this burden to end. So sad when I saw all my theatre friends celebrating after the theatre paper and I'm just like SIAN I GOT ANOTHER PAPER TOMORROW which I'm totally not prepared for haiz. But it's alright I'll be free in about 12 hours, and all ready to use my SU to SU this module.

Just want to say that today my dad did something which I didn't expect at all. At around 8+ pm, some students came to my house to ask for donation under the community chest for spastic kids, and the minimum donation is $10. Well usually, my dad would turn down donations of all sorts and just say that he's already retired and sorts HAHA, but today, my dad did the unexpected thing of talking to the students and asking more of the charity and beneficiaries and he told the students to wait for him while he go check if he has any $10 notes. Ok I must admit that I thought my dad would pretend to find and then say that OH I HAVE NO MONEY SORRY, but my dad really went to take cash out of his wallet for the students!! Ok $10 may not be a huge amount of money, but this action of my dad really surprised me. It's the first time that I saw him do any sort of donations. He wouldn't even usually donate coins for this flag day kids!!

I think my dad has a soft spot for these spastic kids. Background info: My dad used to teach at a spastic kids after he left the embassy. I don't know, but this situation made me see my dad in a new light HAHHA ********** (all these fake lights for my dad LOL). I'm really impressed.

Ok bye back to my notes.
