Last week after coming back from bangkok have been fun. I got to catch up with a bunch of people.
There was a night when I was feeling quite down all of a sudden and it was around 2+ am, with nobody awake to talk to, or so I thought. It was very random but stupid Michele suddenly spammed my whatsapp with 125 messages HAHA and my stupid phone wouldn't stop vibrating like mad and I thought it went crazy. And we just trash talked till around 3am. I don't even know what nonsense we were talking and I was feeling very high after talking to her that I had trouble going to sleep HAHA. Thanks for making me feel better, even though you didn't know I was down HAHA. #mcspicybuddiesforever #ramenpartehhh oh speaking of which, I was complaining that we need to meet up for ramen soon and she's like saying that we eat ramen so often but I'm like NO we only met for ramen twice!! That's so little please!! I told Junhui that too and she said twice is indeed considered a lot!! HAHAHA BOO I NEED NEW RAMEN BUDDIES.
Oh can I mention how jealous I am that stupid Mich has jumped over to the Apple gang and I'm stuck with my poor stupid HTC phone and its lousy purple filtered camera all alone without my fellow HTC buddy :'( It feels like it's been very long since I've changed phone but reality check: my phone is only a year and 3 months old. Stuck with it for around 6 more months.
Last Wednesday night was precious because I finally got to meet Junhui!! She asked me if I was afraid that our meeting would turn out to be awkward because we haven't met for ages, but I was like NO. I love the feeling of meeting people whom I haven't met for ages and our meeting won't turn out awkward!! Actually, the awkwardness seldom surfaces unless I'm meeting people whom I'm not close with.
The ingredients look like they are smiling LOL.
Anyway, we had dinner at this fabulous ramen place which I have never noticed at Holland V, and were greeted by this pretty cute and tall waiter HAHAHA. I love listening to her stories about her life. In general, I love listening to people's stories haha because catching a glimpse of their lives are so interesting!! Maybe this is the reason why I love stalking people on their social networks and blogs HAHA OOPS. Anyway, talking to Junhui is very fun because she's always so animated!! We were both freaking full, but of course, THERE IS ALWAYS A SECOND STOMACH FOR DESSERTS.
Proceeded to this wonderful dessert place at chip bee gardens ahhh I love the tiramisu but the white chocolate yogurt thingy was AMAZING. MY FAVOURITE. Good food and good company, what more can I ask for?? Oh and she gave me super cute adorable cookies (plus her ferroro rocher HAHAHA) but I don't have pics. Love meeting this girl very much :')
Sorry JH but I just got to post this pic because your expression is priceless HAHA.
Ok glammer one.
On Thursday, I went back to student care with FZ because they were having a christmas party!! So heartwarming to have kids screaming JIEJIE SARAH and asking if I remember them and why I did not visit for so long haha. I seriously love kids so much. (well, unless they start going into their rage moods like my 3 P3 kids). Haha it was initially quite weird because there were a bunch of ex-students who came back to visit, and like 4 to 5 new teachers and FZ and I were just feeling lost. We ended up helping to work for a few hours because the center had only 2 teachers in it when everyone went out for outdoor games. Watched the students and ex-students play an intense match of table tennis HAHA so cute.
Haha FZ made me take this photo because she said the frame will make a cool border for my face LOL. And just nice I picked the frame which matches my shirt!! I didn't even realise it until I was uploading the photo. Oh and I did something embarrassing that morning which Joey saw!! I thought no one would see coz the mrt platform was pretty much empty but Joey saw BOOO and she kept teasing me HAHA. And she said I walked like a gangster PFFT.
Friday was gym day with my gymnasts again HAHA. I love working out with them!! And my stamina just sucks now booo need to run more!! When is our next session going to be hmmm.
On Sunday, before leaving orchard road at night, I saw this old man sitting outside mandarin gallery selling roses. I think it's for charity. Normally, I wouldn't do this, but something about this old man just tugged at my heart strings, so I walked up to him, and bought a rose from him. He was surprised I wanted to buy from him. Ok actually I've always had a soft spot for old men HAHA maybe it's because I don't have a grandfather and these old men just reminds me of them. That night, I noticed many youngsters buying roses from him too, and it was just very heartening to see that those young adults are so charitable as well. I went home with a rose, and my dad was like WAH WHO GAVE YOU THAT, and I'm like I bought it myself LOL. And he replied WAH SO CHAM MUST BUY FLOWERS FOR YOURSELF. Yeah so poor thing no one will give me flowers HAHA.
This December has been so hectic, especially with preparation for gpc camp. I've been meeting people almost everyday, and I've only had one rest day at home for the entire december. Not kidding. Honestly, I think I've had enough of social interaction and I really want a break from people. I need some lone time. Not complaining though, because this December has allowed me to catch up with my friends and I'm so glad to have the opportunity to just exchange stories about our lives. Maybe I'll cut down on going out in January, if possible. I'm just left with a few people whom I've yet to meet. Going to meet the 6J girls on 29th and then after that, left with choir peeps, and I'm done for the year.
What an eventful month. Ok going to get ready and leave home for christmas party!!
