The last page of 2014.

A continuation of events in 2014 from my post in August on my 8 months' worth of long holiday here.

41. Rebonded my lion's mane. Having a love-hate relationship with my flat hair now though.

42. Had my 19th birthday. Can't believe we will be hitting the big 2 soon OMG. This year's birthday was kept very simple and I like it. I was also pleasantly surprised by my 2 bffs Doreen and Wendy who came to my house on different nights to celebrate with me. I was also surprised with desserts with Michele by dear Junhui. Very grateful for you thoughtful people!!

43. Ran my first ever 10km marathon with Doreen which was so fun and challenging. ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED. I want to run another marathon in 2015 though.

44. This year has been the year where I tried out many random sports, such as netball and contact rugby, which made me conclude that I'm not a sporty person at all. I should just stick back to being a sloth. Deal.

45. This year, I am also glad to have signed up for hip-hop K dance lessons with Doreen and LH, which made my Saturdays busy, but fun. It's one of the ways where we get to keep in touch too despite being in different schools. New experience, and I love it.

46. Spent $70.20 on Wet n Wild run which was such a waste of money!! The only good thing was the super tall slide (4 storeys high if I'm not wrong), which we all screamed like siao on our way down. Getting to spend time with my 6J girls also made it worthwhile.



47. Halloween Horror Nights 4 with the 6J girls!! It was quite cool!! But Freda, LH, SY and I were not scared so it probably wasn't that exciting. But still, there's the thrill there!! And we got to sit free rides in USS which was good. Only Doreen and Joey were frightened HAHA so funny. There was this moment where they both just grabbed my hand, but they left me behind the two of them while they just clung on and dragged me along and trapping my hand in between the both of their bodies HAHA crazy girls.

48. Met up with 6J for food and movie session. It was fun, and nice to see the guys after such a long while and Joseph was so entertaining HAHA. And it was good because Zozo was finally free to meet up.

49. Ended first semester of my first year in Uni. My exam results were horrendous, but I see hope in 2015 and I believe I can do this shit!!

50. Went to Bangkok with my family!! It's always enjoyable to be overseas and experience different cultures.

51. Christmas party with my family again!! Our theme for the year was SUPERHEROES so we all ordered shirts online with various superheroes character, and mine was Captain America because CHRIS EVANS AHHHH. I would love to be iron man but the shirt wasn't nice. More details another day but I really love Christmas!! It's so sad how after Christmas, the festive feels just disappear. 

Threw on a flannel because I love it so much since the colours were so festive, plus it was raining so it kept me warm.

52. Went for my first youth camp ever. It was alright. Didn't really do much because we were admin so most of the time we were just preparing stuff, and I kept leaving camp for driving lessons. But at least  I made some friends, but not sure if these friendships will last. We'll see.

53. Christmas exchange with the 6J girls!! HAHA FREAK Doreen was my Santa HAHA and our first reaction was to burst out in laughter. Always like this. But I love her gift hehe. She still what sapped me before that, "Don't know if she will like." then I replied, "Of course will like. It's the thought that counts." HAHA she must be amchio-ing when I replied her. Headed to starbucks for one for one and just sat there for a few hours to chill and Doreen, Joey and SY were being exclusive again and taking pics of themselves because same PW group pfft HAHA. And LH told Jamie about taking a PW photo too and photoshopping their group members in WTH we laughed like siao.

54. Met up with SOPS for our major birthday celebration of bf, wood, me, cecilia and asshole xuxi HAHA. We had shabu shabu for lunch and I love the tom yum soup base omg. After that, Rae, xuxi and I went to WCP to chill at starbucks and just had a nice long chat. 2J choir girls reunite haha. We realised it's our first time (the three of us) just chilling. And I got a wonderful present from the Sops and I feel so damn bad because the present is so costly!! And yes, they got me a FREAKING KINDLE MY GOSH I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS. Thanks for knowing me so well haha Rae has a lot of faith that I'll utilise it well. It was so hilarious because they spent a long time trying to make me pose to look hipster but sorry I can't werk it coz not hipster enough HAIZ and haha wth the captions Rae thought of. Thank you so much!!

55. On the last day of 2014, I went for my driving test. I was a bunch of nerves and I just kept praying that it wouldn't rain HAHA. And wth I got test route 8, a super burden test route!! I was just holding my breath in circuit because so afraid to mount or strike kerb. And then tester was like, "Ok let's go to the road." and then right after he said it, EMERGENCY BRAKE. So evil. Oh worst was I had to stop at a slope for 3 times and super troublesome because need to pull handbrake. Naughty teckwhye citizens didn't stay at home. After everything, he entered the room to tell me my results and he said, "almost fail." But he spoke so softly that I heard FAIL only WTH but when I saw my paper it was pass YAY SO HAPPY. My instructors all came to look for me haha so cute and even the group leader who only taught me once announced my name out loud in the room to congratulate me LOL. So thankful. It feels too surreal.



And this is it!! Happy New Year everyone!! 2014 is a year where I've been constantly trying to push myself to step out of my comfort zone and seek adventures. It all started because this dude (I can't remember who) who was probably giving some motivational speech was saying how we can only be 19 once, and why are we holding back. There is no time for regrets. And I'm so glad that I made these decisions in life, because I got to know more people, albeit being superficial relationships, but at least I tried and I made an effort. I also got to learn new stuff, such as dancing and baking, and trying new sports. We were supposed to get my guitar/uke today but the shops weren't opened so well maybe another day. I've also not touched the piano ever since May wow that's 7 months. This year has been a year of learning, of new things, of people around me, and of myself. I wouldn't say I've matured, because I think I'm still pretty immature and naive. But I'm happy. I've probably missed out certain events that I wanted to post in this post, but due to my goldfish memory and the lack of pics to prompt me in remembering, we shall leave this as it is.
