OMG I DROVE ON THE EXPRESSWAY FOR THE FIRST TIME MY GOSH.
Today, my mum allowed me to drive from my grandma's house back to our house!! It's actually only from yew tee to Jurong West, but I feel so accomplished LOL #cheapthrills. I've only been driving around either Jurong area or Yewtee to Choa Chu Kang, so I'm really excited and proud of myself!! Plus, it's the first time I'm driving in the dark for such a long time!! Ok omg all these exclamation marks LOL I seriously need to calm down. People must be really rolling their eyes now because I bet most people have already driven more than me once they've gotten their license, but timid me finally got the guts to drive more!!
It was really exciting because I did my right turns beautifully (HAHA drama queen in action here) and I checked my blind spots and somehow, I was lucky enough to be able to make lane changes smoothly because there weren't any cars behind me!! WOW.
But my mum was really irritating though HAHA. Her hand is forever on standby mode near the handbrake, all ready to pull up the handbrake as though I'm such a lousy driver pffft TOTALLY UNTRUE. And she kept screaming at me to slow down when I was only driving at 50km/h on the expressway (which I increased till more than 70 afterwards, of course). And she kept screaming at me to check if there were any motorbikes behind me, when I've assured her many times that I had already checked my blind spots LOL.
Ok thanks for bearing with me rambling about my first experience on the expressway hahaha. Can't wait to drive more and then can drive out for supper in future yay!!
P.S. I started thinking about a scene that we're going to do for our upcoming play and it really freaked me out because it involves an accident haha CHOY.
P.P.S. Talking about plays, I still have a 2 week old draft of my theatre performance that's rotting in my drafts.
