Sent Bern and Doreen off for their one-month German exchange yesterday!! Was supposed to go alone because I didn't know the others would be free, plus I only wanted to pass my selfie stick to Doreen. But end up, ahmeng and weining also went LOL they super impromptu!! Last minute decided to cab down.
Ended work early so went to town to get some shopping done. Finally bought my planner and super excited to use it!! And then bought some cards to write for bern and doreen.
Reached the airport super early so I headed down to the kopitiam at terminal 3 to have my dinner, alone. The kopitiam was really huge, filled with a majority of locals lugging their luggage, and few foreigners. I was lucky enough to find a seat somehow while others stood standing. It's funny because I was alone, yet I managed to find a 4-seater table, while everyone else didn't spot the empty table. How strange. I left my stuff on the seat to get myself a cup of iced milo. This is how safe I believe Singapore would be LOL. Plus I assume it would be impossible to steal my stuff since I made eye contact with the family beside me so I guess they would remember my face and would try to stop another face from taking my belongs LOL #somuchfaithinhumanity.
The queue was excruciatingly long. It was awful because there were only 2 people serving the long queue at the drinks stall. They should hire more people!! So after a long wait, I managed to get my drink. Headed back to the table and started writing out my cards for my friends. The cards were too pretty I had to take some pictures, but my phone did no justice to them.
Pretty right!! aiyah stupid phone camera. Must see in real life better.
Random thought but I remember in sec4, Liuhan and I were reading newspapers on a Wednesday morning during the assembly time and we came across this article on eating alone. Liuhan said she can do it so I challenged her to eat alone in school during recess. It was pretty funny because the plan failed MISERABLY. She just sat down and was going to eat alone, but then Vivan and Xiumei went to join her, so our plan failed.
Ok so I was writing my card, when suddenly these 2 guys asked if they could share the table with me, so I said yes of course. Then I realised that he was from the embassy because of his lanyard, and he was holding this folder that had a letter from the ministry of foreign affairs omg cool much haha.
Took a sky train and went to find Bern and Doreen. Saw a bunch of fellow faculty mates that were sending Bern off and they know Doreen too coz same OG, and felt kinda weird there. Haha but lucky Doreen stayed with me and talked to me. and her mum super cute coz she remembered my name and she cheekily said "bye-bye Sarah" and gave me this grin when she left HAHA SO CUTE AND FRIENDLY. We spotted ahmeng and weining from afar and then bern and doreen went to hide while I lied to them that they already checked in the departure gate already. LOL stupid girls actually believed me and were complaining but then they spotted lousy Doreen HAHA.

LOL we spent like freaking long time to argue about our positions because the stars were Bern and Doreen so they're supposed to stand together in the middle but these two wore a similar outfit and they felt it was gay to stand together HAHA. And then Ahmeng wanted the middle spot and we all wanted to push her away from stealing the limelight. We kept laughing at her jacket too because it had similar prints to the SIA air stewardess' uniform. So after a very long debate, we finally got into our positions LOL haha grey white grey white grey. Perfect. But stupid weining laughing at my height :(

LOL LOOK AT MY BITCH FACE!! They were taking forever and I was like HURRY UP PLEASE but they still arguing over their positions.
Wendy couldn't make it coz she wasn't free :( I shall photoshop her in when I'm free HAHA I'm too lazy to do it now. Anyway, after talking for a while, they decided to enter at around 10.30 I think. Gave them the cards I made and then ahmeng said I super yongxin and sweet haha much thanks and Bern kept saying, "omg sarah kwok I cannot I cannot." So they hugged us and stupid Doreen hugged me for damn long and said, "I'm going to miss you so much." and this stupid girl made me tear a little and ahmeng just like OI STOP AR YOU. SHIT how ar we are overly attached friends as Doreen said LOL and I get super emotional and sentimental when saying goodbyes. I really hate saying goodbyes omg. Weining also LOL she kept saying HOW AR HOW AR I'M GOING TO MISS ALL OF YOU. She was saying the airport has lots of feels, it's a place of both sadness and happiness. How true. We are really great fans of the airport Haha.
Went for supper at Burger King after they left HAHA. And then I realised that Weining's new catchphrase is "pass away". HAHA what on earth right. Last time it was the "xiao weird", "xiao sweet", "xiao" anything. Now is "pass away". HALL LINGOES SERIOUSLY. She kept saying "pass away" the entire night and Doreen asked her how many times she pass away LOL. A cat has 9 lives but this girl surpasses them all. Wow she kept passing away and reviving the whole night. #makingworldrecord.
Oh then the three of us went to snap others and lied to them that we were going away on holiday HAHA. We were on sky train and weining lied to her friends that we were waiting to transit HAHA. Oh and just nice on the train there was this trolley with luggage (of another guy) beside us so I snapped it and sent FINALLY LEAVING SINGAPORE which my ally Shuying believe me HAHA major liars haha. Shall post the videos on dayre another day. Then we down there zihigh and stuff super crazy. Ahmeng wanted to bring me go timbre but she touched my forehead and realised I was having a fever so she told me to go home haha oh and apparently she was having a fever too wth sick still wanna go out and play.
Oh and damn I only realised I forgot to pass Doreen my selfie stick when I reached home omg major face palms.
Really wishing for the day that I can travel overseas with my friends. :'(
