desperate times call for desperate measures.

1. three japanese guys were sitting around this table at a coffee shop. two of them left to get food, while one guy stayed to take care of the table. He surreptitiously glanced around and made sure that no one was looking at him. Unbeknownst to him, I happened to be observing him from the table opposite him. It was funny because I was just sitting right opposite and he couldn't feel that I was staring at him, or perhaps I was doing a very good job at not being obvious with my staring. He proceeded to remove his contact lens from his left eye, probably having a dry eye or eye irritation. His next action was utterly shocking. He actually placed his contact lens into mouth and made it moist with his saliva OMG. And proceeded placing the lens back into his eye. Normal people would have gone to the toilet (there was a toilet at the coffee shop) and used tap water even though it's strongly not recommended as tap water might be contaminated, but this dude brought it to a whole new level by using his saliva!! It was quite a disgusting scene but amusing because I felt so sad for him that despite him going all out and making sure that no one would observe that act of him, he didn't notice me catching him in the act HAHAHA.

2. Walking home that day and it happened to be drizzling. Not really a heavy drizzle, but a light drizzle. This kid above had no umbrella, so he whipped out his shopping bag and placed it over his head. He did an amazing job of walking home because he didn't bang into the wall in front but yeah the bag is obviously translucent so well yeah that explains why. Kudos to him for having the courage to do this the entire walk back!! This made him actually look like those guys whom we always see on Hongkong dramas - those guys who get caught by policemen when they raid those pubs and then the police will escort them out for illegal acts and those guys will try to hide their faces with plastic bags or whatsoever HAHAH SO FUNNY. What an innovative kid seriously. I've seen people covering their heads in rain with their files or sweaters but it's my first time seeing this happening.

I guess desperate times really call for desperate measures.
