Just ended a Skype call with Chloe and Michele, and currently waiting for my phone to charge till 100% before I go to bed. 18% more to go Arghhh.
Caught Junhui's contemp concert and I enjoyed it so much!! It was my first time watching a concert alone HAHA but it was good because I enjoyed the dances so much!! So proud to see her standing there for the opening acts and during one of her dances, she looked so cool because WOW that fierceness in her expression WOW JUST WOW. AND WOW SHE CARRIED A DUDE OMG. All the girls in that choreo had to lift the guys up but omg I'm impressed haha!! I initially CONTEMPlated (hahahaha see what I did here) if I should go since I was alone but yeah made the right choice!! Oh and saw Wenhui there (some childhood friend) and surprisingly she recognised me still and was nice enough to ask her friends to make way for me haha.

Went for delicious dim sum with some 4H girls and hehe dim sum craving fulfilled!! It was very funny because initially it was Vivan and I who were planning, and nobody said anything but we two just super enthusiastically planned ourselves and yay managed to make people to join. AHHH didn't get to eat my xiaolongbaos though because reviews all said the xiaolongbaos there SUCK. And we ordered chilli crab and mantous but the chilli crab tasted like tomato sauce instead??!! SO DISAPPOINTED. But mantou still has fabulous as ever omg mantou my love you are awesome.
Oh and I did something embarrassing. Was trying to read something off the menu and it was something like 炖蛋 (dun4 dan4, which is steamed egg I think) but I read it as 蠢蛋 (chun3 dan4, which means stupid egg or just stupid) because the word resembles 纯 (chun2). Guess who is the real 蠢蛋 in the end?? ME LOL.
it was raining so we went to seek shelter at some coffee shop, and we saw this bunch of aunties who are like those beer girls kind. They had very interesting uniforms - blue top and yellow mini skirts with yellow boots and feathered headbands and feather boa around their necks. They were posing with the zhao cai maos from the chicken rice stall LOL. Then someone mentioned that these aunties maybe performing for rag HAHAH since rag is all about those fancy costumes and stuff and we were just nice waiting for the rain to stop to go rag!!
MUCH THANKS TO MICHELE/LUCY FOR GETTING US TICKETS FOR RAG. So happy to be able to watch Rag this year because it's a super big-scale event this year at the floating marina in accordance with SG50!! Tickets were so hard to get because those faculties and camps reserved so many WTH. Ended up they had many spare tickets omg greedy max. But yay we got seats!! Sat with SDE though HAHA but cheered damn loudly when they were screaming for arts haha. And lucky dude in front of us from arts too so we 4 (including Doreen, Vivan and I) cheered super loudly together LOL faculty spirit.
Oh and we saw our theatre friends like Glenn and Cheryl there!! Glenn was nice enough to come and speak to us while waiting for his gf haha!! It's amazing how Theatre friends seem to stay close even after the mod ends. And they're really a nice bunch of people and all so talented.
The Rag performances were amazing haha I love the crayon one omg and biz as good as ever. Arts improved from last year haha!! I really like Eusoff and TH's performance though because of the lights HAHA. Oh and Rag even managed to invite people like the sam willows and gentlebones to perform omg!! P.S. Gentlebones' drummer looks FREAKING HOT I AM FANGIRLING. AND CHRISTINA GRIMMIE OMG HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT SHE'S SO FABULOUS I COULDN'T CONTAIN MY FANGIRL MODE. Her voice was SO AWESOME and the CD track spoilt so she sang an a cappella version of her song omg IT WAS SO GOOD. HER HIGH NOTES AHHHH. SOBZ PERFECTION.
Rag funpack provided us with this lightstick - either a red or white one. All of them got the red one and only Vivan and I got the white one!! White one is nice but SUPER ANNOYING because the light is extremely glaring!! Then we two kept flashing the light in front of Doreen's face to disturb her HAHAHA since she was sitting between the two of us LOL SUAY. But then the next day my arm freaking ached and I think it's karma for using too much arm strength in waving the light stick in Doreen's face??!! OH TIAN AR.
I really enjoyed my night there. :') But perhaps it'll be the first and last rag that I'll go for?? We shall see.
National day celebration in church LOL HAHAH. We made Joshua to take the photo for us and I wasn't camera ready plus felt awkward hence a bad picture, but mich looks good so this photo is for her.
At curious palate with Doreen and zx. Haha quite delicious but it's like eating a giant sponge cake. Oh yes my palate is satisfied LOL. We spent like 10 mins taking pics but somehow the pics look damn unphotogenic. Ok lah Doreen's one not bad. Mine is just bad since using front camera. Someone evidently went weird and giddily high after lunch. And visited SAM briefly but I figured out it isn't my scene. or perhaps I didn't put my heart and soul into observing the exhibits LOL.
Met up with the OG girls for lunch finally and finally got to try the ayam penyet at the upper floor of deck. IT'S GOOD. And Vera finally replied her whatsapp messages!! Fun to hear Nancy talk because she's always damn joke.
Nancy left and Mel came so second group picture!! Everyone is wowed by Mel's new haircut because she looks so sporty now!! Oh and we also gossiped about awkward encounters with the other clique from our OG haha glad to know that I'm not the only awkward one when facing them. Abi shares my sentiments haha.
Alright phone is 97% charged. nights :)
August flew past, and now the first week of September has past. It's scary how next week will already be the last week of school till recess week and midterms. FAST.
