Burden German test is finally over!! Found it pretty manageable but it's because I was lucky enough to have a free day yesterday to memorise. LOL still have 3 more vocab tests, more oral shit, midterms and finals to go LOL. Shout out to the dude in class who screamed out SAMMELN and its definition before the test started so I remembered HAHA.
Presenting my group : Qing, Elvin, Hillary and me. Initially thought that group project is a burden but our recording times turned out to be super fun!! And we aren't awkward with one another haha. Our NG clips were hilarious but Hillary only added a few because 15 out of 20 clips were NGs HAHA. And got RV senior in my group too but didn't know who he is oops.
Went to Singapore's Night Festival 2015 with Doreen and her other bff Yihfang last Friday. Didn't know Singapore had such cool stuff haha. Totally feeling super hipster and shit down there HAHA. Oh and Doreen finally got to eat her FEIFEI WANTON MEE before we went down haha. Not bad I like their fried wanton but freak portion super small yet quite pricey.
Oh we spent a few mins watching this Anooki light show against the museum building which was super cute too see the cartoon characters bouncing up and down but then I kinda zoned out after that oops. Oh then we went opposite to get food from their food village near SMU and WOW REALLY SUPER COOL. Like paserbella like that.
We got ice-cream macarons woohoo!! Managed to bargain with dude to sell us cheaper HAHA but only by a few cents.
Green one is some yuzu flavour, then pink one is chocolate, and the blue one is earl grey omg earl grey is the best flavour hands down. Oh but we totally got judged for standing near these bushes to take photos LOL many people were staring at us but whatever they won't recognise us anyway.
Much wows still very impressed and proud of myself for making the right choice in getting iphone6 HAHA CAMERA IS AMAZING CRIES GOODBYE PURPLE HUES.
Pretty fairy lights all around *___*.
Oh and we got to hear like 2 local bands performing. Nice voices they have!! They were performing on this stage and below the stage, they set up many HAMMOCKS OMG HAMMOCKS CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS??!! Then people were just lying on the hammocks and swinging and enjoying the cool vibes omg so cool. We wanted to get on a hammock too but they were all occupied!! Plus I think it would be gross since people were all sweaty and eeew the hammock would just absorb their sweat and stuff.
Oh and we were kind of bored after that because like no cool stuff to watch, then we were walking out of the place and then we suddenly spotted this crane and there were people hanging on it and performing!! SUPER COOL. I didn't save the images from snapchat though so can't show here boohoo but wow they were super high up there like a few stories high!! And probably just dangling on a harness or something. But wow they even have sparklers and like fireworks stuff!! SO IMPRESSED. Really the highlight of the night.
YF had to leave after that so we went to walk around more to explore. Entered Peranakan museum which was cool because they had quite a few exhibits related to SG50 and our founding fathers. Nice!!
We even saw this barber LOL like literally you can go and get haircut there. There was this brave dude sitting down there letting the barber trim his hair all that. Oh and they were selling super cool beer in the cup which will have light!! But it's like $10 or more so yeah didn't get them. Doreen and I got a bit high haha we were (or rather I was the only one HAHA) just like screaming WHERE IS THE PARTY WHERE IS EVERYBODY.
Oh then we went to the Armenian church to see the purple lights thing, or what Doreen and I called as "SW's LIGHTS" HAHAHA. SW is a girl from my OG and Doreen's union OG.
Quite cool right so pretty!! But the whole atmosphere there was DAMN WEIRD I SWEAR. We were in the church and if you've ever been to the Armenian church there, you'll know that they have this tomb markings inside there so it kind of gave off weird vibes?? Plus everywhere else was super happening outside and loud, and it's kind of solemn and quiet inside the church there and it's also the seventh lunar month so I found it kind of inappropriate even though I am not superstitious. There were also many pieces of weird white cloths hanging above and I don't know, I just find it weird yeah. But still pretty lah.
Good company and good vibes :)
Not bad ar Singapore stepping up on your game. I'm impressed seriously.
