How I barely survived week 1 of Y3.

So I barely survived my first week of school for Year 3. It was utter hell.

Day 1 (Wednesday) started off well. I finally got to see Doreen. Our first lecturer was quite good, albeit being a little cocky haha. Our second lecturer was an utter bore omg. No wonder our friends were complaining and I totally understand Vivan's pain when she was taking that mod last sem. Also, we were both feeling very weird in lectures because Vivan will be going on exchange this sem. It felt weird attending lectures without Vivan. We've been having lectures for 4 semesters together and suddenly she's not around anymore. :'( 3rd lecture of the day was spent alone because Doreen doesn't take that mod. It was damn funny because prof told us that there are only 40 people taking that class, and I counted and there were only around 30 people who were present. Also, we were assigned this super huge LT that could fit more than 200 people LOL wth. 3 lectures on my first day of school is no go seriously.

Oh yeah funny story here: So I was rushing to leave home that day and I wanted to grab my grey cardigan. I always hang my cardigan and my PJs on my bed's ledge. So that day, after changing, I hung my PJ pants there too. My PJ pants happened to be grey. I just quickly grabbed my cardigan and stuffed into my bag and dashed out of house because I was running late. On the bus, I opened my bag only to find my GREY PJ PANTS INSIDE INSTEAD OF MY CARDIGAN HAHAHAHAA FML. And the worst thing was, it was freezing cold in all the LTs that day and I had nothing to wear!! Doreen kept laughing and kept asking me to take out my pants to wear BAD FRIEND.

HAHAH wth my grey pants. Went home and sent bern this and she kept laughing and said can imagine my reaction.

The best part of the day was when I had lunch with my 6J friends who are in nus too. It was funny just watching Joey suan Jon Ong haha. And we having a mass spam snapchat session where we took unglam videos with some hideous snapchat filters haha. That lunch break really made my day!! They were saying how lupsup Jon Ong looks and Doreen said that most people will try to look good in freshie year and then after that then lupsup. Then Jon Ong said he's opposite. Then we were like no, you're just going to be lupsup all the way. HAHA.

Blatantly ignoring Jon Ong when we were taking selfie HAHA. Coz he was busy talking to his friend because someone is popz now cough cough.

This is just like how a member of One Direction just decided to turn away in the wrong direction.

Day 1 was tiring because after 3 lectures from 10-6, I had to stay back for meeting and it was hell. I kind of regret doing something that I have no passion for because it's unfair for them too, as I just cannot bring myself to feel enthusiastic and giving my 100% in doing things. Also, I made it clear what my priorities are but I feel like this is sucking away my energy, positivity in life and time. Just hope that things will work out somehow.

Day 2 of school was an absolute horror. German lesson was initially very enjoyable because I simply adore Frau. But soon, it became demoralising and I realised how lonely I was because Hillary has graduated and Qing has found other friends who went on immersion with her. Plus, my classmates were all intimidating because they were so fluent and stuff. It was a nightmare. Also, we were given our first graded assignment that is due the next lesson. WHAT A HORROR.

However, meeting my friends for dimsum buffet after that was an A+++++++ to the day. More about this day in my next post as it will mainly be focusing on Pokemon GO HAHA.

Day 3 was supposedly my free day but I had to go down to school for SLF. Sorry for complaining but I just feel very sian about everything.

Also, I'm considering joining this research programme job/internship for an econs prof this sem, but my friend told me that it's very time consuming. But I thought that it would be a good opportunity for me to build my portfolio. Plus, we will be paid too. I'm still considering because not sure if will be able to juggle with studies, club stuff and this job. I talked to my parents about it and they highly encourage me to go for it. Perhaps I shall.
